Welcome to my website.

I am a barrister admitted to the Bar of England and Wales (with chambers in London), and I am a Rechtsanwalt admitted to the German Bar (with chambers in Bavaria).

This website is mainly concerned with the developing law of financial derivatives, both in England and in Germany. Its primary emphasis is on issues which have arisen in litigation.

The website addresses matters of general interest and must not be taken as a substitute for advice in any individual case.

Alongside my work as an advocate, I am also professor of philosophy at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. For those who are interested, see a selection (in German) of my lectures recorded on video.
